Chinese New Year

Chinese Lunar New Year is the most important holiday and it is celebrated by all Chinese around the globe.  It is also known as “Spring Festival”, literally means 春節 (Chūnjié) and the celebration lasts for 15 days. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are celebrated with a family feast, also a time of reunion and thanksgiving.

Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節), or Autumn Moon Festival, is a very popular festival for Chinese people. The festival happens on the 15th day of the eighth lunar moon in the Chinese calendar (which is normally from mid-September to early October, close to the autumnal equinox.)
